Some minerals are required in very small quantities like as - IODINE, FLOURIDE and some minerals are needed large quantities such as - CALCIUM, MAGNESIUM and POTASSIUM. Minerals are also most important for making enzymes and Hormones.
Our body also needs water and roughage to remain healthy. Roughage is present in vegetables and fibrous fruits. It helps our body to get a relieve of undigested food. We know that food can also harmful to us ? Eating too much one kind of food can be harmful to you. Eating too little of food can also be harmful to us. To keep yourself healthy and fit you should eat the diet containing all the nutrients that your body needs, in right quantity of foods. such a diet is called BALANCE DIET. Those who do not eat meat should eat more pulses and diary products which provide them enough proteins.
PRESERVEATION OF FOOD :
When food is left in the open for some time, germs such as BACTERIA and FUNGI can fall on it. The germs begin yo breed in the food. Therefore, food should be stored properly, otherwise it becomes stale. It can stay fresh for a day or two in the fridge for longer periods, It can be preserved by CANNING, DRYING, FREEZING, SALTING, SWEETENING, STERILIZING and PACKING IN VACCUM.

Louis pasteur discovered that milk and other liquids can be preserved for a while by a process called Pasteurization. To pasteurise milk, it is first heated upto 60 C , boiled at least for 30 minutes and then cooled quickly. Most of the germs are killed in this process. When you eat, make sure that you do the following :

Junk food the impact of sugary foods on emotional health in human body and consumption of junk food can negatively impact of energy levels and emotional health well being.
